Statement

Talpanit is committed to making its website accessible to all members of the public, including people with disabilities, in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 5773-2013.

Accessibility Standard

In our effort to make the website accessible, we have aimed to comply with the Israeli Standard SI 5568 for Accessibility of Web Content, at AA level, which is based on the WCAG 2.1 document.

Accessibility Measures Implemented

• Skip link to main content — allows direct access to content without navigating through the menu
• Keyboard navigation — the site can be navigated using the keyboard only
• Color contrast — adequate contrast between text and background
• Alternative text for images — images include appropriate descriptions (alt)
• Logical structure — headings and page structure support screen reader navigation
• Forms — fields with associated labels, hidden labels for screen readers, and autocomplete support
• Tables — accessible structure with scope for headers and captions for screen reader filters
• Visible focus — every button, link, and field displays a clear focus outline (focus-visible)
• Support for prefers-reduced-motion — ability to turn off animations for those who choose
• RTL support — full support for Hebrew and right-to-left direction

Known Limitations

There may be parts of the website that are not yet fully accessible. We continue to improve the level of accessibility as part of our commitment to serve all users.

Accessibility Adjustments

In modern browsers, users can enable accessibility settings according to their preferences. For example: enlarging text, high contrast, and reduced motion preference.
